Surex returns to Masters de Feu

Surex returns to Masters de Feu after a remarkable 2nd-place finish in 2018. Representing Poland, the team is back in Compiègne with a more mature, bolder artistic approach, deeply centred on emotion. For Surex, pyrotechnics is a universal language blending light, music, rhythm and storytelling. International competitions are, for them, spaces for exchange, passion and inspiration among fire artists. A highly anticipated return, driven by the desire to offer the audience an intense, moving and memorable show.

Surex returns to Masters de Feu: Polish pyrotechnics between emotion, light and storytelling

Following a remarkable 2nd place in 2018, the Polish company Surex makes its grand return to Masters de Feu. A participation marked by experience, emotion and a strong artistic vision of pyrotechnic performance.

This year, Masters de Feu welcomes back a familiar team from the competition: Surex, representing Poland. Already in Compiègne in 2018, the Polish company left a lasting impression by securing a superb 2nd place. Several years later, Surex returns with an even more assertive approach to pyrotechnic performance, combining technical mastery, a sense of narrative and the pursuit of emotion.

For the team, the memory of 2018 remains deeply alive. Surex recalls "an evening of great emotion" carried by "the wonderful energy of the audience." That first Masters de Feu experience confirmed a key conviction: fireworks can become a universal language, capable of bringing together spectators from different backgrounds through light, music and emotion.

A more mature and bolder artistic approach

Since its participation in Masters de Feu 2018, Surex has continued to evolve on the international pyrotechnic stage. Today, the team says it creates in a "more mature and bolder" way, paying particular attention to storytelling, rhythm and the emotions that emerge between the effects.

For Surex, technology plays an essential role, but it must never overshadow artistic intent. It remains a tool in service of a broader vision: to create a show that does not merely impress, but tells a story, transports and moves the audience.

This approach gives pyrotechnics a deeply sensitive dimension. Every effect, every musical sequence, every breath in the sky contributes to building a story. At Surex, the pyrotechnic show becomes a living work, where technical precision serves emotion above all.

Surex, a respected team on the international pyrotechnic stage

The Polish company Surex has built its reputation through numerous experiences, festivals and international competitions. For the team, every participation in an international event leaves a mark: major urban shows as well as competitions where precision, creativity and originality are closely judged.

But beyond awards and references, Surex emphasizes what fuels its work most: meeting the audience. Creating emotion in different countries, before varied cultures, allows the team to continually enrich its artistic language.

This international dimension is at the heart of Surex’s identity. Pyrotechnic competitions are not only places of competition: they are also spaces for exchange, inspiration and dialogue between fire artists from around the world.

A return to Masters de Feu driven by motivation

Returning to Masters de Feu after a 2nd place could create pressure. For Surex, it is above all a source of great motivation. The team returns with humility, but also with renewed energy: the energy to tell a new story through light, in a way that is even more accomplished, more beautiful and more intense than before.

This return to Compiègne is therefore a significant moment. It marks both the continuity of a journey already noticed and the desire to present a new stage in the company’s artistic evolution.

In front of the Masters de Feu audience, Surex aims to offer far more than a technical demonstration. The ambition is to create a show that will remain in people’s memories long after the final explosion.

Fireworks as a true art form

For Surex, the most beautiful pyrotechnic show is the one that continues to exist in the spectator’s mind once the sky has fallen silent. A fireworks display must of course impress through its technical quality, precision and visual power. But above all, it must awaken emotions and guide the audience through a story.

This vision places pyrotechnics at the crossroads of several disciplines: music, rhythm, staging, dramaturgy and visual art. Fireworks then become a complete language, capable of inspiring wonder as much as poetry.

It is precisely this approach that Surex wishes to champion at Masters de Feu. For this experienced team, international competitions allow pyrotechnics to go beyond spectacle alone and become a true artistic expression.

Surex at Masters de Feu: a meeting of passion, precision and emotion

By taking part once again in Masters de Feu, Surex reaffirms its attachment to major international pyrotechnic events. For the team, these competitions are places of passion, sharing and inspiration, where each country brings its own sensitivity, culture and way of making the sky come alive.

Poland’s return with Surex therefore promises a particularly anticipated moment in this edition. After making its mark on the competition in 2018, the company returns with a more mature vision, undiminished energy and a clear ambition: to offer the audience a show where light, music and emotion become one.

At Masters de Feu, Surex once again intends to demonstrate that pyrotechnics is far more than an art of the moment. It is a shared emotion, a collective story and a memory that continues to shine long after the final spark.
